Hello people, I have an Epson V600 scanner that is rated at 6400×9600 dpi. Whenever I try to scan, it only lets me scan a maximum of 2400 dpi and if I choose a higher dpi, an error message appears saying the file s too big. I need to know if there is a limit on the file size and if so, is there a way to increase it to a higher dpi? Thank you in advance.
My Epson Scanner Giving alot of Errors
Hi,
Your “Epson V600 Scanner” has a maximum resolution of “12,800 x 12,800” dpi, but the hardware resolution is up to 6400 x 9600 dpi. Whenever you try to scan over 2400 dpi your scanner does not allow scanning and an error comes, this is due to the maximum size of the document. You can only use a maximum of “A4” size only, more than “A4” size will result you to an error.
I suggest you to choose 48-bit color at “3200 dpi” for slides, that make files up to 67.8 MB and it will take around 2 minutes.
While “4800 dpi” will take around 6 minutes for per slide and the size will up to 152.5 MB.
Hope this answer will help you a lot.
