Hello techyv guys,
I am using Microsoft Excel for my daily routine in recording my inventories, suddenly I met an error. When I tried to open my file, the file could no longer be opened and an error message appeared on my screen. I pasted below the error message screen shot.
Microsoft Excel
‘C:Documents and Settingscmstest01Local SettingsTemporary Internet Files
Content.IE5AXHIZQ1Stransaksi-0123044208(1).xls could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct.
If you are trying to open the file from you list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.
I am wondering why I can't open the file. I don't remember deleting, renaming or moving the file to another folder. Is there any possibility that this file was eaten by a virus or any system bug?Â
Please help me recover my file. What I have is a backup file that is not updated. Please share your ideas. Thanks.

Are you sure you with the correct filename?
As stated, transaksi-0123044208(1).xls could not be found. Is there really (1) in your filename.
-
A behavior like this is experienced if file type Open action entry ends in %1.
-
If accidentally edited and line is restored before you choose OK, a %1 is added to the registry key.
-
Could also be, file is moved to another folder. Have you tried to search your file? do the Advanced Search.
Anyway, you may try to do DISK CHECKING. For some instances your file is malware infected on where you saved it.
When you do disk checking will recover you infected file.
Or you may do,

Hi Martyable's,
I have read your problem and thought of sharing some views on this. The file you are trying to view isn't giving the exact reply right. Well for that case please run a complete virus scan in your computer and try again.
But as I can see you are trying to view something from "Temporary Internet Files" and I must tell you that these files are specifically for the OS system to have a look and this is not meant for you.
I would advice you to copy the required file to a drive and try viewing it. This time I hope you won't face this kind of problem.
Thank you.
