I was using Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8. But some of the sites displayed me an error message which says that your browser is out of date. Then I updated my browser to Version 9. Now I am facing a problem that when I click on the icon of browser it goes to the following directory and does not open any page.
C:/User/Hassan/Local/Temp/Internetexplorer/..
On the top it is written Internet Explorer is not responding what kind of error is this?
Can anybody identify please?
My explorer is not working
Hello! Sofia Zofia,
The Internet Explorer not responding is a common issue with Internet Explorer browsers in any kind of version. Good thing is, IE 9 has a feature that only closes 1 Tab and it can recover the affected website/ window. Here's the steps to solve Non-responsive Internet Explorer; Â
In Optimized Browser Click Start>>>> Control Panel>>>> Internet Options>>>> General Tab and click on Delete button and check all the boxes to clear all history, cookies, files and others. To Reset Browser settings
Start>>>> Control Panel>>>> Internet Options>>>> Click on Advanced Tab >>>> reset the settings to default. and uninstall and re-install the browser reverting back to the older version and or the default Internet Explorer version of this computer. This usually fixes the issue because a non-responsive IE means the software is corrupted. Hope these steps will help you.

It seems your browser is not installed properly because it automatically opens the temporary folder. That temporary folder located within your user account is the temp folder used when installing an application you just downloaded like when you updated a program. To make sure you update the browser correctly, use a different browser then go to Microsoft Internet Explorer Downloads.
This page allows you to download the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer for supported operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. If you have Windows 8, you should update to Windows 8.1 to install the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer. See if this works. If this doesn’t fix the problem, update your operating system to the latest Service Pack.
For Windows XP, download Windows XP Service Pack 3. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. For Windows Vista, download Windows Vista Service Pack 2. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista. For Windows 7, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1. This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.
Once your operating system is updated, try downloading the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer again then see if it works.
