Even when the cable is securely in place, the system keeps giving the message "a network cable is unplugged" and the connection fails. It then comes up without my intervention. What is the problem and how can I solve it?
My Internet connection keeps breaking .
1st of all check your cable properly as there should not be any short circuiting.
Follow these steps.
-
1st you disable the Ethernet network adapter. To disable the adapter you have to double click on the small Network Cable Unplugged error window & click on the Disable option.
-
Check both sides of the network card wire which is connected to the adapter to make sure that they shouldn’t be loose.
-
Change the network card wire with a new one to check that the cable is not broken.
-
Now you have to update the Ethernet adapter driver from the vendor's website.
I hope these easy steps will solve your problem.

Hello,
If the internet connection always keep breaking up, just clean boot in the computer and then check any third party application that is causing the issue. Then try to access the link below and just troubleshoot the problem by performing a clean boot there on Windows vista or maybe on Windows 7. Click How to perform
After that if the issue is resolved, try performing the clean boot and try to normally startup your system by going to the start button, you can see the shut down, choose the Reset.
Also make sure the connections of your computer to the internet are properly fixed or maybe there is a virus inside your computer just update your Antivirus to check if there is any virus.
