So I’m trying to run VLC player on my Linux Ubuntu Operating system when suddenly I noticed that there are some bug because when you press some keys all of it just disappears. Do you think it’s a problem with the codec or other problem?

My major woes for running Ubuntu
hi, i don't think the problem is with your codec, because problem related to the codec basically are, you not being able to play the video you want to see and so on. But, i think the problem is with the file you try to see, if the file is corrupt, it may cause some problem. Know first that within an OS when a program try to access something that it's not allowed for it the system will kill that program, this one of the buffer overflow (BO) bug types. So i think it is due to some BO that VLC is being killed.Â
hope this is helping!!
thanks!
