This issue can be very annoying at times. But there is a very simple fix to this problem. Connectivity issues in Microsoft Outlook can be solved by any of the following ways.
If your Office Outlook is constantly showing now that it is trying to connect, it means there is a problem with your connection. If your computer is connected to a router, try resetting the router. Turn off the router and unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds.
After that, plug it back in and turn it on. Open your web browser and try visiting a website to check your connection. If this doesn’t fix the problem, check the network cable at the back of your CPU. Disconnect the cable from the network port then connect it back. See if this works.
If you continue to experience internet connectivity problems, contact your internet service provider or ISP. On the other hand, if your internet is working fine, check the settings of your account in Office Outlook. Make sure both the incoming and outgoing servers are correct, port numbers are correct, and the security protocols used are correct.
