Hello,
I have a basic Asus netbook with Windows XP.
For 1 year I use to play World of Warcraft with no problem.
However, since about one month, it often happens that my netbook turn off instantly in full play, several times a day.
this problem only happens while I play the game, and it is not a heating processor problem I've checked that.
I have no idea where the problem could be and it's pretty annoying so I'd like your help please.

First and foremost, surely start your computer with a virus scan. Do not open any files until its done. Another option also is that the machine overheating – make sure check the cooling fans as well. These are good places to start if your machine shuts itself off frequently.

You have used your system to play that game before so it surly supports that game. now when you try to play it its causing a RESTART. well first of all, use an antivirus to check the game files in case they are affected by some virus recently. if they are virus free, it may be causing because some of the files needed to play that game are missing. it may happen when deleting other software. some how the game files are deleted or corrupted. you can try repairing it or just uninstall the game and re install it.
