My Processor is not working properly?
Hi James,
You are right. Blue screen problem is usually as a result of problems with the processor a problem with the video graphic adapter cables. So check the connection of the cables of the processor to the motherboard, either they are not hanging or loose or that they are plugged in the right socket. Also ensure that cables have not been interchanged by mistake with other cables like the ones for the hard drive or the CD drive.
For the video graphics adapter cables ensure that they are screwed up properly and they are not loosely attached too. Check for both the system unit and the monitor. If the problem persists, try restarting the machine and let it load in safe mode, and then troubleshoot the problem from there.
Hope this helps.

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) can be caused by several factors which can be both software and hardware. The processor can be one of them but it would be much easier to isolate what’s really causing the problem if you provide additional information. As far as Blue Screen of Death goes, it should give you a screen with a blue background with white colored messages on it. It should give you a STOP error code beginning with 0x000000 then followed by a letter and/or number. Kindly post that information here or try and look it up as well and it should give you more information as far as what’s happening.
