My smart phone is unable to connect to my WiFi. I using the Bob Lite WiFi. I’m wondering if the WiFi “sleeps” like a computer when not in use for some time? When I try to connect my smart phone with the WiFi, the smart phone appears to be trying to establish a connections then ultimately disconnects. There is no error log so I cannot check what the problem is exactly. What can I do other than reboot my WiFi? Thanks.

Well, since you are trying to establish a connection to the Wi-Fi, there might be several causes that are responsible for that problem, and that include the following:
-
The Wi-Fi strength at the place that you are may be so slow and therefore cannot successfully establish a connection. In that case you will need to move to a place where the signal is a bit stronger.
-
The Wi-Fi settings on you phone may not have been configured correctly, and therefore you will need to go to the Wi-Fi settings and change if there might be any issues and rectify them.

Hi,
I think this could occur because of your wired connections. Please change the WLAN SSID and WPA-PSK If did not solve the problem , It could be a wireless interference. Please use inSSIDer. This will show available networks around the Wi-Fi.
If still did not solve, Please update your BoB Lite Firmware. This will solve the problem.
