My start bar doesn’t work

Hi, 

I use Windows XP. My computer has powerful registered version of Avira. All programs work perfectly. My start bar works fine after immediate start up. But after working sometimes, it freezes. What do I do? Help Please

Note: I have new pairs or mouse and keyboard. Also do not use Internet that much.

Hi Elena,

Did you try to lock the taskbar(by right-click)?

Your computer might be affected by spyware, do you have any anti spyware program? Run it, or download MS anti spyware.

Let me know if it is solved if not I will think about another solutions.

My start bar doesn’t work

Try updating your antivirus then run a full system scan on your computer. If after the virus scan it turns out to be negative, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Use PC Tools Performance Toolkit to clean your Windows registry, clean your hard drive, optimize your Windows registry and optimize your hard drive.

Maybe your system is behaving that way because of poor system maintenance. You should check your computer regularly and defrag your hard drive on a regular basis so that it will perform efficiently. If you are doing a lot of program installation and uninstallation, it is more likely that your system will become slow in a couple of days.
