My tablet couldn’t read SD cards

Hi everyone,

I have bought brand new HP Omni 10 tablets with Windows 8.1 pre-installed in it. It is really amazing and works great.

But one problem I am facing today is that it is not able to detect SD card. I have tried different brands ones, but none of those got detected. Sometimes it is also causing the screen to stick.

How can I resolve this issue? Any help to resolve this is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

This kind of problem often occurs when the SD Card has some malware issues. You can fix this issue by trying to remove SD card and insert it again. Do this procedure after restarting your tablet. 

You can also resolve the issue if you try to reset the factory. I am sure this can resolve your problem as well or otherwise try to change the card. Use possible ways to fix this issue because these are the basics causes to this problem.

You said you are facing this problem today, did this problem not occurs before?? If so, what you had changed or what type of formatting you've done with the SD card i.e. Formatted in the Camera itself or the computer device??

Try formatting SD Card one more time in the the computer and reset your Tablet. Try inserting it back again and see if its do the magic.

If none of the above step works, ask for RMA from manufacturer as the tablet is pretty new and still in warrranty.
