Hi,
I just encountered a problem with one of my computer programs. It says, I need to use the task manager for me to end its process. However, to my surprise, I do not seem to see all the tabs that were previously in there. I know there were six of them. I know there should be Applications, Processes, Services and the likes, but I do not see them.
I tried rebooting my Vista computer, just so the system will be refreshed, but it did not work. When I pull up the task manager, same thing appears. All my task manager’s tabs are gone! How do I get it back?
Help!
Taskbar tabs are missing on Windows Vista
You have encountered a virus attack on your system. Virus attacked your task manager and disabled all tabs. Just check if your “folder option” is working or not and search if the virus had effected Win32 folder, located in windows/system32 directory.
You will have to update your Antivirus on first priority and run a complete system scan and see what happens. After scanning you should go to and
download caSIR v 2.0 or above. Then extract files and follow the procedure. It will show you a window, check all things.
Hope your task manager will be in working condition.
Regards,
Kelin
