My Windows 7 Home basic appearance could not be customized

I Have a windows 7 home basic installed on my computer and I tried to customize it's appearance, like the wallpaper and theme, but I cannot find any option that would let me change it's appearance the way I wanted to. Is there any way in which I could change it's appearance?

Dear brother,

Sorry to say but your OS doesn’t support such function.

Windows 7 Starter and Home Basic doesn’t come with built-in “Personalization” option which is present on other Windows 7 editions. Microsoft made these Windows non-customizable so that users would upgrade to higher version of Windows 7.

If you still think to make such changes, you have to upgrade your OS to newer version. To do so, follow the techniques described here.

You can only change your desktop background by right-clicking on any image and selecting “Set as desktop background”.
