I am using Dell Laptop and Canon 1200 DS Camera. I recorded few clips from that camera and installed it on laptop. Surprisingly, I am getting very narrow resolution of it. I have tried and changed many settings but I am left without any satisfactory result. Can you suggest me anything regarding it that how to fix the issue?
Narrow Video Resolution on Canon 1200 DS
I’m not sure why you are getting that because that’s not what the camera supposedly can give when recording video clips. Maybe you should check if the battery is already weak when you recorded the video. With the Canon EOS 1200D camera, you should be able to get an excellent resolution for your video recordings.
Using the camera, you can record video clips up to around 30 minutes max with a maximum file size of 4 GB and with the following resolutions:
-
1920 x 1080 screen resolution at 29.97 fps, 25 fps, or 23.976 fps.
-
1280 x 720 screen resolution at 59.94 fps or 50 fps.
-
640 x 480 screen resolution at 30 fps or 25 fps.
Maybe you should check the way the video clips were recorded because you might be using the wrong settings that’s why it gave a very low resolution. Try installing the latest driver. Visit Canon EOS 1200D Software and Drivers. Make sure to select your appropriate operating system.
