Hi

I got a new acer laptop as a gift from my aunt. In the manual there is a new technology called signal up. I found more derails about this from internet but there is no wireless network in my area. So is it possible to use this to access internet through my local wireless router?

Yes you can & first you need to switch on your inbuilt wireless network device on your Acer laptop in order to detect wireless networks available within your coverage area. The signal up technology usually requires the correct drivers in order to work properly therefore you need to check if the wireless drivers installed are compatible with the signal up mode.
