I am very much interested in the brand new Gigabyte U2442. Can some one tell me which graphics processor it uses? I need a laptop for some heavy video rendering.

Gigabyte U2442 is a thin and light ultrabook that has a 14-inch gloss display. It has a larger display than the 13.3” screen which we have all become used to. It weighs 3.46 lbs and measures 18.5 to 21 mm thick. It is powered by Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M or GT640M graphics attaining 3DMark at 9587 points.

Aside from the distinct graphics, the notebook still has included Intel HD 4000 graphics. Hence, it will be good for improving productivity and heavy video rendering. The dual air vent design, one for the CPU and one for graphic cards, sets it apart from other ultrabooks. It has a backlit keyboard that illuminates when you need them because of the built-in light sensor.

The accessories included are USB ports (2.0 and 3.0), SD card reader, Ethernet, HDMI, and built-in mic and speakers.

Hi,

Genebraldo Regio, This is awesome laptop and supporting I5 processor. And 8 GB RAM. Extra Slim, lite And have super quality Video performance with 1920 x 1080 resolution powered by NVIDIA GPU. Around $1700 and a little expensive but it’s worthy to buy because this is a good laptop.
