Need help in database for guest management application 10

Here's my situation:  I have access to a MSM 760 controller but I don't have a database server.  I'm trying to use SQL Express as the database for guest management application 10 but keeps on having an error of "GMS cannot access database".  Can someone help me in configuring this?
