Need help on this Error

Could somebody please tell me what this error means.

I would really appreciate it if you would post some solutions I could do to solve this.

Error:

Could not find settings

Either the server service or the configuration file could not be found. Startup variables and service section are therefore disabled.

Need help on this Error

I think, i found the answer for your issue

step1: Start My SQLAdministrator

step2: When the Sign in screen appears quickly press and hold the CTRL key, you will see that the Cancel button changed to Skip.

step3: Skip the sign in..

This will let you sign in and fix the issue. i have installed MySQL 5.0.67 the install inserts the wrong command line for the service, which screws up the MySQLAdministrator, if you fix the issue thru this program it will fix it.
