Need Help With Game Lagging While Playing

Whenever I play my favorite game, I always experience lagging with my connection. In-game items sometimes load very slowly and it affects the game’s performance. The ping stat or icon on the bottom right corner of my screen always appears in red and very rarely in green or yellow. But when I do a speed test, download and upload are fast but ping is high.

Is there a way I can improve my connection’s ping?

This is also my problem when I play online games, lag. If you are using a laptop and connected to the internet wirelessly through your Wi-Fi router, make sure you are not too far from your router because distance affects the speed and stability of the connection. Try moving closer to your router.

If you are using a wireless internet like 4G LTE, try restarting your router so you can connect to the nearest cell tower. If your router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.

After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. Another way is to use VPN like LimeVPN. This is the cheapest VPN service I found which charges $1 a month and billed every two years. Though VPN is not free, it will surely improve your connection when playing games. If you want a free method, you can try Leatrix Latency Fix.

Just download and install it. It will somehow improve your connection.
