I need to know if the apps created for the Samsung TV Apps Software Development Kit competition should be original, or if I could use a pre-existing app? I hope you can give me an answer immediately. Thank you.

Hello Ranya,

I suggest you to use Original applications rather that using pre-existing applications. Basically, by  using original applications, you will become worry free and you can enjoy all them and it is complete. To be able to see all the Samsung TV SDK applications, you can visit the link and you can choose any of them:

Using the emulator, you can easily test the basic functions of all the applications of Samsung TV SDK.

Is this for competition? Actually you must have created the original one. If you are using a pre-existing app, you may be charge for pirating someone’s work. You may also not win the competition.

For the sure and correct information, you may ask the organizer of this competition for find the website for this event so that you may have the complete rulings for this.

For me, it is better to make an original application, this is one point advantage to all competitors using a pre-existing applications.
