Need to program a Wireless Access Point

I need to change the authentication method of a Wireless Access Point . Is it possible the behavior of the wireless access point a change if any, like password ,name or something . By which library on any operating system that means Hacking Otherwise , tell me how it goes ?

Need to program a Wireless Access Point

Wireless Access Points actually known as Wireless Transmitters comes pre-programmed, where the access points are generated when you set up or add a new device to use connection from WIFI router, but if you want to setup your own access point to it. The you have o set three things to program a new access point.

1. First is Network Name or SSID: You need to enter the WIFI router's network name.

2. Secondly you need to set an infrastructure for it.

3. And the last one is security of the network to encrypt network for security purpose.
