My old OCR program stopped working for some reasons and I need to have the best going aside from Adobe Professional. Do you have any suggestion? I need to scan to pdf and edit the document.

You can try A-PDF OCR to this which looks very easy to use. You can download it from the below link:

After installing click on “open pdf” to choose scanned pdf files from your computer, in OCR, chose a language and click OCR all pages. The OCR text will be displayed. From Edit click OCR text and you will be able to edit directly. Save the text file to output the edited text.
