Need some tutorials or converter for linux

Hello,

I am using Ubuntu 11.05 OS version in my laptop. I have m2ts files to convert. I want linux edit m2ts files and transform it. So I need some converter or tutorial for do it. Please suggest me some links or URLs. Thanks.

You can use linux based video converters like Handbrake – an open source multi platform (including Ubuntu) video trans coder.

Or you can also try Trans coder –  a video converter for Linux using GTK+ as GUI toolkit and ffmpeg as backend.

Hello,

For convert the m2ts files you need to have a software. You can do this on ubuntu. For more help you can just follow these steps: Just copy all the streams and output them in an mkv container : ffmpeg – i input.mt2s – scodec copy – acodec copy -vcodec copy – f matroska input.mkv. While you done it no information is lost or re-encoded. You can search for videos on youtube. Or just watch this video:

Hello Jem Mandap,

If you want to convert your m2ts file then you have to use a third party software so that you can convert your file and transform them. As m2ts format can be easily converted in to your desired formats like AVI , MOV , FLV etc.

For converting them you need to use the WinX HD video Converter it is one of the great video converting and transforming software for m2ts formates. You can buy it from the below link.
