Need for Speed installation error with Windows XP

I tried installing Need for Speed last night on my laptop that has Windows XP installed.

After I installed the first volume and tried to install the second one and the following message appeared.

Why do you think this has happened?

Windows – Wrong Volume

The wrong volume is in the drive, please insert volume Disc 1 into drive N:

Need for Speed installation error with Windows XP

Hi charles, 

Based on the error message you provided, the program you wanted to install has some corrupt files or sub-files that are causing your computer not to accept or read the files.

The best thing you can do is reinstall it and if the same error appears.

Install a new set of Need for Speed provided by another server or another disc.
