I am running Ubuntu Linux. I just want to ask what is the best spyware scan Ubuntu Linux? Any suggestions? Where can I get it? Thank you so much. You're all a great help.

Hi,

The Ubuntu has an inbuilt spyware and malware scanner. It is very powerful and aggressive than Windows. If you feel you need another program to block spywares and malwares, you have a lot of programs. I suggest you to try the following.

>>Spyware doctor for Ubuntu.

>>Firestarter.

Both the applications are very aggressive.

Dear Dudley Achan,

When you are using Linux you should not worry about viruses and spyware, but if you have congenital data and very interested to avoid this things, I recommended you a trusted antivirus software, you can use AVG online security it supports it have a special version supporting Linux operating system for free.

Also there is another way to make an online scan I prefer Symantec online scan.

Wonderful comments, guys, and thanks! I now know that Ubuntu Linux has an inbuilt spyware and malware scanner, so I don't need another program to protect me. Alcaraz Jody, your solution was very helpful in telling me that if I want to use an antivirus program, I can use the trusted antivirus software AVG, because it has a free special version that supports the Linux operating system. Thanks to you and techyv.com for increasing my knowledge with your information.
