Nero- program requires the file advrcntr4.dll

I installed Nero express to my computer which in vista operating system. After installation I run the Nero because I need to burn files. But I don’t know why this error appears and I can’t run Nero. Why this error appears? I already re-installed Nero but same error again. Does my installer corrupt? Please help.

Nero- program requires the file advrcntr4.dll

I think that when you install the software the file advrcntr4.dll was missing from the suitable location. To solve the problem you should search the file advrcntr4.dll. The file may be in the other folder. By searching you can find the file. If you find the file in the other folder,just cut or copy the file and then paste the file in the main software folder. Then uninstall the software and restart the PC. Install the software again. I think this time you can launch the software.

Hello Mica Jane,

It seems that there are some important registry files that are needed for Nero to function well on your computer and are missing and therefore you may want to run a program that will identify and fix any registry issues that your computer may be having, and I will recommend Ccleaner for you.

In case the error persists after checking and fixing the registry errors, I will suggest that you try an alternative program like shampoo burning studio, which is equally good or even better compared to Nero and see if it is going to work without bringing the errors.

It seems you did not check the system requirements of the version of Nero you installed on your computer. It probably requires a version of .NET Framework which is not installed on your computer. Since your program triggers a missing DLL error and it doesn’t run, why not just use a different burning software like ImgBurn.
