Well, this is my problem. I bought my Net-book just a month ago and now I am trying to use the an SD card to load some pictures from my camera. But when i inserted it in my net-book it won't detect. I have tried using other SD cards to no avail. No pop-up not even an icon on the taskbar shows up unlike in my PC where a pop-up to open the folder shows after inserting the SD card. Can someone please help me with these.
BTW this is the Net-book I'm using.

Net-book can’t detect SD card!
Hello,
I think you have not updated or installed Memory card drivers first. Hence, your computer doesn't know there is a slot.
Try this.
start menu->control panel>system icon>hardware tab>device manager>right click on computer icon (:scan for changes) if it detects-then it'll ask for driver>goto wizard>download new driver via internet.
Net-book can’t detect SD card!
The SD card reader that is usually found on laptops need to be installed first to be able to use it. You can check in your computer if the card reader is already installed. You can check it in the Device Manager.
To go to the Device Manager, right-click on My Computer then select Properties.
Click Hardware tab then Device Manager.
You will see on the next window the list of the devices that are installed on your machine. Check the SD card reader device if there is no question mark beside it. A question mark on the device means that the hardware is not yet installed on the system. If you see a question mark beside the SD card reader, this means that the card reader is not yet installed. That’s the reason why your computer can’t read the SD card you are attaching.
Just install the SD card reader’s driver which is usually found on the installer disc that comes with the laptop.
