I am unable to access the videos on the Netflix app. It shows the Netflix error code 1001 which is concerned with Silverlight plug-in. That is why it directs me to make corrections on Silverlight.

Netflix Is Not Working Due To Netflix Error Code 1001 Issue With Silverlight.

Some issue with Silverlight cause this error. It may be that due to the incorrect settings Silverlight is unable to store the files needed to run the app or the content you are trying to play has some error.

To rectify this error in Windows:

1. Open ‘Internet Explorer’ and in the top-right corner select the ‘Gear’ icon.
2. Select ‘Security’ in the Internet Options.
3. Choose ‘Sites’ in the option ‘Trusted Sites.’
4. Deselect the choice of ‘server verification’ and delete all the content related to Netflix in Websites.
5. Add the Netflix.com to the field and click ‘OK.’
