Netgear Wireless PCI Card Wg311v3 Code 10 Windows 7

I have a PC with a netgear wg311v3 wireless PCI card. But I can not make it work. At first, there was no driver at all, so I did not have internet. So I connected an Ethernet cable to my laptop and ran Windows Update through the shared Internet connection. Windows Update correctly installed a driver for the card. The card still does not work.

Device Manager indicates that the device can not start wg311v3 code 10 Windows 7. After browsing the Internet, I found that previous versions of Windows 7 were working properly with this card and that even the driver was on the hard drive, but the current version did not have it for any reason. Can someone provide me with the driver provided with previous versions of Win7 and/or indicate a driver running Windows 7?

I just launched my WG311v3 on Windows x64 by installing the NetGear package and moving the card to another PCI slot. When the computer was restarted, the Netgear Network Assistant started and I was able to log in without any problem.

If the problem is with the NETGEAR wireless PCI adapter and Windows Update already installed a driver but it did not work, the driver is probably not compatible with the adapter. This can happen if the driver is designed for a different version or an older or newer version of the hardware. The solution is to simply install the correct driver software.

For NETGEAR WG311v3, go to NETGEAR WG311v3 – G54 Wireless PCI Adapter. The driver software is available in four (4) versions and the latest version includes support for Windows 7. If you need the driver for Windows 7, download the latest. If this doesn’t help, download any of the previous versions: version 2.0, version 3.0, and version 3.1.
