Network disconnection during working hours

This Network includes about 100 pcs. During working hours sometimes clients cannot access emails and internet. This happens time to time. I suspect that there is a pc with faulty network card causing this issue. How can i identify that pc?

Network disconnection during working hours

There can be different causes for this. One option could be the thing you mentioned yourself that is a faulty card computer in the netwrok. To identify that, you just need to ping the computers from your server and see the response time of the PCs. The faulty PC will have a longer delay then the other ones.

Another possibility could be that there is some virus on the network. Scan all the PCs completely with a latest updated anti-virus and see if you detect anything. If yes, then remove the virus and see the result.

Yet another option could be that your server is having issues in itself. Scan the server completely as well and check with your internet provider if they are having certain network issues.
