Hello guys,
Neverwinter Nights (NWN) is a computer game set in a huge medieval fantasy world of Dungeons and Dragons. This role-playing game (RPG) puts you at the center of an epic tale of faith, war, and betrayal.
But the Neverwinter experience is not just for one person- adventure with all your friends. Neverwinter Nights can be played online with up to 64 friends.
I am facing this NeverWinter Nights Launcher error.
Neverwinter Nights Launcher
Access violation at address 00441966 in module ‘nmn.exe’ Read of address 72656461
Sometimes the error will come back again and again after clicking OK and will prevent me from loading the game. I then have to start windows task manager to kill the task.
Most of the time it only gives me the error once.
This error is very annoying. Anyone know how to tackle this error ,please tell me.

Neverwinter Nights Game Launch Error
Neverwinter Nights it's a 2002 game, I played it on my old Windows XP Alfa when people used to drive it in 98. Good old times. Right, back to your question, information provided is not really complete to answer you, but anyway seems to be related to an event that trigger the error. Can be graphic, can be compilation, installation, or just the proper module if you are playing custom game.
A good start is to check you have latest patch (1.69) for the game, Bioware no longer offer support for that game so you need to look for them elsewhere. If that doesn't work try run it in Win98 compatibility mode, and then, just try to re-install, check graphic drivers, check the module, etc…
Neverwinter Nights Game Launch Error
Hi AshokS,
I suggest you to create a new shortcut on your desktop with the following options :
in the Target field, you type : runas /savecred /user:Administrator "C:Program FilesNWNnwn.exe" or where you installed your file.
The first time you launch the game, the password of the Administrator account will be required and it will be saved for the next times you start the game. Or
Restart your computer.
Log on the administrator account;
Uninstall the game completely;
Reinstall the first part of the game for all users and retry to launch the game with your own account.
