New To Apple Laptops. Can You Upgrade Them?

I am looking into buying my first Apple laptop but due to the price it will be used.  Is it hard to upgrade the software on older Apple laptops?  I really do not want to buy one if the new programs will not work on it? Can you add new software to a older machine?

Upgrading your system is not just buying new software and hardware to use. You need to know the changes that it will cause after upgrading any parts of it.

Apple do have the same principle in upgrade. You can do upgrade if the hardware you’re going to upgrade will maintain good working condition. If this will slow the processes of the system better yet maintain the same hardware you have. In upgrading or installing new software from Apple make it sure that the version you will install still compatible with the specifications of the computer. Otherwise any changes you will make will slow down your computer or might crash.
