I need new Arabic Fonts 2011 that will support AutoCAD 2011, also guide me on how to insert Arabic font into AutoCAD.

New arabic fonts 2011 for Autocad 2011

Hi,

You can download new Arabic fonts which are supportive to AutoCAD 2011.

AutoCAD supports two types of fonts they are:

1. SHX fonts.

2. Windows system TTF fonts.

SHX fonts can't be installed by coping the .SHX file into the AutoCAD fonts folder.

Eg.C:program filesautodeskautocad 2011fonts

TTF fonts should install in windows & through the windows control panel select font and select file menu in the AutoCAD & choose “install new fonts”.

Arabic Tools for AutoCAD is a plug-in that allows users to add Arabic text to their drawings. It includes a number of utilities, such as text search and editing, text exploding, curve-fitting, and text export/import. It also features VisualSHX(TM), which is a visual SHX font editor.

This version is a full featured demo version which is restricted to 2 fonts. It includes an installation program and a manual. You can install the program by unzipping ARBTOOLS.ZIP to any directory, and then starting SETUP.EXE, which guides you through the installation process.
