Asus released it's new padfone smartphone with docking tech. I just don't know one thing. Does the smart phone support HDMI function when turned into a AIO PC.

If you meant the new Asus Transformer pad and Eee Pad transformer prime (all of which have the docking capability) then the answer would be yes .. They both support HDMI function and have micro HDMI port..
