What features they have added in Lenovo Thinkpad 2 from its existing ThinkPad 1.

Does anyone list the features and specifications added in this new Lenovo Thinkpad 2.

Hi,

The features of Lenovo thinkpad2 are as follows-

It has Windows 8 operating system, Atom processor, 10 hour battery backup, Optional 3G/4G, Micro HDMI output, 2Mega pixels/8 Mega pixels Cameras.  In this tablet on AT&T’s LTE network. It will have also HDMI-out and an Ethernet jack along with a dock with 3 USB ports.

This is 9.8mm thick tablet PC that can make a room for an NFC radio with a fingerprint reader and a pen having screen size 10.1 inches  and screen resolution 1366 x 768.Basically this would be totally different from the first think pad of Lenovo.

  • optional keyboard and dock
  • 2-megapixel webcam
  • 8-megapixel rear camera
  • NFC (near-field communication) that is optional
  • 1.3 lbs, an Intel Atom processor
  • Windows 8 Pro operating system
  • Stylus


The ThinkPad Tablet 1 uses an ARM processor running on Android, however the Tablet 2 will be running new-dangled 32nm Atom processors.  This processor core will append some extra liveliness for the larger form factor.

It runs a full version of Windows 8. Unlike the first ThinkPad Tablet that will only run newer apps.
