New Team Project Wizard encountered an error and could not continue

Hi,

I installed Team Foundation Client on my system but I got this error message when I opened VS 2005 and tried to create the new team project. Why can’t I create a new project even I have right to create a new project.

Please share some ideas and instruction to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Hi Fred,



This is a problem being caused by a faulty connection between the Team Foundation Client and the SharePoint you are trying to create it on. Perform the below steps in the Administration Console:

1.     Click on the SharePoint Web Application and select the SharePoint Web Application
2.     Click on the "Repair Connection" link on the right side of the window
3.     Try to create a new team project now
