Dear User,
There is news that says the surface 2 already in the works.
Tech radar on Sunday discovered that several jobs posted at Microsoft which focus on hardware and software engineers who will be creating the next generation of Microsoft Surface tablets.
Whatsoever the date of Microsoft Surface is clear. It will go on sale October 26th.
But let’s hope that we will hear more about Next Generation very soon.
Thank you.
Hi Christina,
Microsoft is currently working on a 7 inch Surface of its tablets. It has long been rumored that the device will be released in June 2013. This new device release will be announced at the next Microsoft Build Developer Conference.
The Company has confirmed that it is working with OEM’s to be able to bring cheaper and smaller Windows tablets into the market. I understand that the Microsoft Conference will focus on improving Windows 8.1 and improving for 7 and 8 inch tablet devices.
One of the latest Microsoft Surface tablet at the moment is Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It was announced to the public on October 6, 2015 together with Surface Book and released on October 26, 2015. It ships with Microsoft Windows 10 Professional and available in three different processor models:
Internal storage is available in the following capacities: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. It measures 292.1 x 201.42 x 8.45 millimeters. All Microsoft Surface Pro 4 models are built with 6th generation Skylake Intel Core processors which run cooler and more powerful than its Intel Core Haswell predecessors, which you can find in Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and 2.
All models have a continuous kickstand, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, USB 3.0 port, magnesium casing with silver-colored back side, mini DisplayPort, Cover Port, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, microSD card reader, 3.5-millimeter jack, and a renamed port called “SurfaceConnect” which is a port on the side for connecting wall charger, Docking Station, or Surface Dock accessories.
