Hello,

I have an AVI audio file and the only way that can be used to make it louder through VirtualDub. Well I set it to full processing mode for the audio but when I tried to play back the preview I got this following error message. I already have installed AC3 filter program as well as Divx for help. What could be the cause? I need your help. Any help would be appreciated. I am running Windows 7 Operating System. Thanks in advance.

No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format

This is a problem that has solutions ranging from simple to geeky:

1. One way to solve it is trying and install the missing codec from different sources, but it's a bit risky because different codec for same purpose might not work as expected.
2. Another way is the geeky path when the necessary codec were present on the system just not registered for the use. Just do as indicated on the article for your 32 or 64 bit system and you will be fine.
