Hello everyone,
It's impossible for me to do a System Rescue with NOD32 (v.4) without a failure message popping-out with an error:
SysRescue
Error 0x7e.
I have been operating on Windows XP for a long time now, and this is the first problem I have had since.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Thank you very much.
NOD32 System Rescue error message
Hi,
In windows XP this is not a common error that you already experienced. The reason of this error: „Error 0x7e”. is to add flash card (means something like memory card)with your system. This error comes when you remove flash adapter from your system after editing something in that card.
To solve this problem in Windows XP you need to repair your windows XP with the original CD of Windows XP Professional service pack 2 or 3. Give that CD in CDROM and run boot from CD. Now follow the instruction and repair this Windows. This will over write on those corrupted files.

Is the media where you're trying to burn or write the rescue disk not write protected? If it is, try and remove write protection from the disk. Try to remove read only properties from it as well. Is it a writeable media? Is it completely empty, meaning it is not partially written into previously with any data at all? Make sure that you are using a CD or DVD writeable media or a rewriteable media. If it's not, then it wouldn't allow any data to be written on it. Try to make sure you're also using a CD/DVD writer to create the recovery media. You might also want to uninstall and reinstall your NOD32 software, it may be corrupted that's why it is unable to finish the job. Also run a complete system scan to make sure it is not a virus that's causing the problem.
