I have Nokia N97 Symbian s60v5 Phone. I have original charger but now a days I am unable to charge my phone through that charger, but when I roll the wire around my phone tightly and put the charging point into its port it shows charging and sometimes even after removing the chargin pin, the charging bars show charging status. What is the cause? Is it Hardware or Software problem? Please help.
Nokia Symbian charging bars Animate after removing Charger
I also have that kind of problem on my Nokia 6610 handset. I need to do different stuffs on the cable of the charger until it finally charges the phone. It is obviously a hardware defect which usually happens on very old and worn out devices. If this is what usually happens every time you charge your phone, I guess it is time to buy a new charger for your Nokia phone.
If you continue to do this, aside from extending the damage to the cable of the charger, it can also damage the battery and even the phone in the long run. If you can no longer find a phone shop that sells original Nokia chargers, you can use a different charger that fits the port on your phone with the same voltage description.
Don’t use a charger with a higher voltage output because it can damage your battery and the handset.
