I am encountering an internal memory problem with my Nokia 5130 Xpress Music Phone. I always set my music, pictures, themes, and videos to be saved in my external SD card by default. All the data's are stored in there. The internal memory for my phone is 30 MB and I am using a 4 GB SD Card. Lately, I keep getting an alert that the memory of my phone is full.
I checked on every folder but all the files are stored in my SD card. I updated my firmware and restored my phone to factory settings but I was not able to fix the issue.
How can I get rid of this? Kindly please help me.

This is a very common thing that the phone memory is being eaten up. The main reason behind this is that the mobile phone keeps a cache memory stored all the time. So whatever you do with your phones goes in that cache and it can never be erased. Also that cache folder is not visible for a normal file manager. Following are few steps that can help you regain your lost space,
-
Download OXYCUBE. It’s a files browser for mobile phones. This software allows you to access those folders which you can’t browse and access from any software.
-
Install it.
-
Attach the phone via cable using pc suite option in the phone with the PC.
-
Connect phone with OXYCUBE software on the PC.
-
Browse through the phone, go to Hidden folders, and go to Themes active, here u can see all the themes u have applied since u bought the set. Even though you have formatted it many times but the themes never go away from the cache as i said.
-
So delete all those themes and then see the difference.
-
After that u can apply the themes on your phone just like before.
-
Regularly clean it using OXY CUBE software and stay HAPPY.

I bet this will solve 99% of the memory problems for Nokia 5130.
Nokia xpressmusic internal memory problem
Hi there ,
I own and use Nokia 5130 blue express music, i too had this problem, what i did is that i went to applications from main menu and then i deleted all the stock games and all the unwanted apps sensor, converter, searchworld clock, which i never used in it in my entire life, then i went to gallery and clicked on options and moved down and selected memory status and then checked then i saw mostly memory is been used in gallery, so i deleted many of my files in my gallery including my useless ringtones, message tones and screensavers and clip arts like that, it helped me a lot , now my free space has increased widely, if you are a massive messages then try cleaning your inbox and sent items, hope that helps
