Is Norton 360 Google chrome compatible?

I just made Google Chrome 6.0.472.63 my home web browser. Can I add Norton 360 Safe Scan on Google Chrome toolbar and is Norton 360 Google chrome compatible? By the way, I'm using Windows XP 32 bit sp1.

Is Norton 360 Google chrome compatible?

Hello Winnie,

As far as I know that Norton 360 isn’t chrome compatible yet. Norton Internet Security 2012 and Norton antivirus 2012 public beta are compatible with chrome. Now a days Norton says that they are considering offering support on the chrome browser but no improvement yet. On the other hand google doesn’t write software for any other companies so Norton has to take the initiatives.

Is Norton 360 Google chrome compatible?

Hello Winnie,

As far as I know Norton stated that, the security product of Norton is compatible with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer which means Norton 360 is not compatible to Google chrome yet. So if you want to run Norton with Google toolbar then you need to use the Norton 2012 public beta. Otherwise you can change your browser. Hope this could be a help.
