Not able to view the thumbnail images from the Nikon D80

Hi to all,

I upgarded my photo downloader from PE8 to PE10, the problem is that I am not able to view the thumbnail images from the Nikon D80 for the images in .NEF format and instead are depicted as flowers.

Images in .JPG however are visible. 

I downloaded the Nikon CODEC to try to improve on the defects, but it has not yielded.

Not able to view the thumbnail images from the Nikon D80

Hi,

The images you are trying to view seem to be of high data. The PE software limits the image to a value proportional to your system's RAM. This happens so that large files do not slow down your computer. It also causes your computer to freeze.

In order to prevent this, PE doesn't allow images of high dimensions to be viewed in the thumbnails. The possible solution for this problem would be to increase the RAM of your computer.

If you think the thumbnails are very important to you, then increase your RAM. Otherwise, there is no need to worry about the problem.
