Pair Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 with my mouse

Hello,

I recently bought a new transceiver for my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 since I damaged the original one. Problem is that I don’t know how do I pair the new transceiver with my mouse now. The transceiver has a Bluetooth button at the bottom which makes the light to turn red/green, other than that info I have no idea as to what the light does or what it indicates.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate and have an HP PC other than that my technical know-how is NIL. Please I need help and in very simple language as you might know by now that I'm technically dumb.

Hello Osbourne,

Thank you for telling me that you are technically weak. I'll try to explain regarding this matter step by step in very simple language. Hope you will easily understand:

• At first please turn on the mouse.
• If you find Bluetooth button, Press and hold it. If the flash light turns red to green, release the button.
• If you have device software, install it.
• Now press ‘add a Bluetooth device’ and add your device.
• Install it. Please do not use password when pairing.

I think your work is done.
