Notes 7.0.2 error in opening windows

Hi there!

I came across with this error that seemed to happen when I open any Window. This error message appears after every operation, it displays:

An error was encountered while opening a window

I observed that the Notes disappear after every boot but it still appears afterwards.

Notes 7.0.2 error in opening windows

The store concerning the acceptance of nnotesmm.exe was reportable to Quality Engineering as SPR #HNAA6E89C5 and was addressed in Notes/Domino 6.5.6.

If unexpectedly ntaskldr.exe not loading correctly then uses the operating System's Task Manager to end the addition (push CTRL+ALT+DEL –> Task Manager –> select ntaskldr.exe –> End Process –> imminent Extend Handler).

Upgrade it if you haven't yet this state, occurrence Product Proof to see if a hotfix is ready for your part configuration.

Notes 7.0.2 error in opening windows

Hi Scott,

This is nothing but a coding mistake in Notes 7.0.2. And therefore appears every time you launch it.

Earlier Notes 7.0.2 Fix Pack 3 was available but is not available now on the internet as the same can be fixed by very easy steps.

I will advise you to follow these steps to avoid such errors –

1. Press Control, Alter and Delete together to open Taskbar,

2. Click on Taskbar Menu (See the image below),

3. Select ntaskldr.exe file,

4. Press Alt+E to finish the task.

I am sure this shall fix your issue.
