Hey, the steps for the seagate 1tb external hard drive problems is as follows:
• First go to the start menu
• Next check for the connectivity of the cables is it done properly.
• Next check for the two or more external cords to the HDD
• Also look for if the drive is hidden or not
• Check if the partition is not corrupted or not
• Try reformatting the HDD
• Also may connect top other system for the same.
• Later install in manually and try connecting the same.
