Hey, if you could not stop/start hotspot because of invalid settings then you may try for pressing the Fn F2 key to enable the same and the solutions is done or can try for moving the Wi-Fi to the toggle switch and turn the same on as well.  If still got error try formatting the device as there may be some software issues that might cause the error. Restart the devices and it will be done successfully.
