NowFlash has encountered an error while erasing the device – Erorr 199

I was exploring the demo that came with Hercules Safety MCU when I got this error message. 

I have checked the user’s guide about the indicated error 199 but couldn’t resolve the issue by myself. 

I am so new to nowFlash programming. 

Can someone help me, please?

NowFlash has encountered an error while erasing the device – Erorr 199

It seems that while you were checking the demo version of the nowFlash Programming Tool you accidentally selected a command that instructs to erase a device as what was stated in the error dialog box. I’m not sure if this is really a problem with the application. Although it is an obvious error but that error only occurred because there was no device detected on your machine where the command or option you selected will be applied. It’s normal for an application to generate this kind of error if an expected device was not found or was not detected. If you want to try it again, be sure to connect the device on your computer.

The latest version of the nowFlash Programming Tool is 3.42 which support Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems.
