Hello Friends,

I am using O2 XDA Mobile Pocket PC Suite [Windows Mobile Pocket PC Suite 4.2] in my O2 XDA Atom Life. Which seems to be very slow in processing. Is there any other OS that support my Phone, which will have a better processing speed.

Thanks and Regards,

Willie B Blackwell

Hey Willie, hello there.

I am actually citing that you are looking for a better PC suite, so there is one solution to this a single PC suite that manages different brands of mobiles. It can be used for any mobile and I hope you can too use it for your mobile, it is called mobile Edit.

The O2 XDA Atom Life is a discontinued 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was announced to the public on January 2007 measuring 106 x 58 x 18 millimeters and weighing 145 grams. It uses mini-SIM card. It has TFT resistive touchscreen display with 256K colors (65K effective) at 240 x 320 pixels screen resolution with handwriting recognition support.

It runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC powered by 620 MHz Intel XScale PXA 270 processor. It supports miniSD. It runs on 64 MB RAM with 1 GB ROM internal storage. The primary camera supports 2 megapixels featuring LED flash and video recording. The secondary camera supports VGA video call. It doesn’t have 3.5-millimeter jack.

It has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 1.2, infrared, stereo FM radio with RDS support, and miniUSB. No GPS is supported. The pre-installed web browser supports WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML (PocketIE). It runs on removable Li-Po 1530 mAh battery with standby time up to 200 hours and talk time up to 4 hours. It is available in silver color.

If you have a problem with lag on your phone, unfortunately, it is with the phone itself because the device is very old and obsolete. If you are looking to update the device, I don’t think it is still possible. Just buy a new Smartphone with a much wider support like Android.
