Office 2002 Professional installation crashes and stops on responding

Hello experts,

I got some problem installing office 2002 professional. When I run the executable file for office 2002 professional, in the middle of the installation process it crashed and indicates that not responding and unable to continue the process. What is the main cause of this problem? For additional information, my operating system is windows xp. Thank you.

Office 2002 Professional installation crashes and stops on responding

 

Most of the times such kind of issues occur due to pirated CDs, first of all try to change your CD with some trustworthy CD and try to install it again.

If the same problem persists it means that your window is not installed proper and some of the extensions are mission, re-install your window and then try to install you Office 2002.

Office 2002 Professional installation crashes and stops on responding

Hello Marry:

You need to make sure on which service pack currently installed. It is very important because Microsoft Office 2002 professional required windows xp service pack – 3. Install the latest service pack I hope it will resolve your issue.
